Rajpal Yadav, known for his impeccable comic timing, has had a delightful career in Bollywood. His performances, especially in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, have earned him a special place in the hearts of audiences. Soon, he will be seen in a pivotal role in the much-awaited film Baby John alongside Varun Dhawan, where he will portray a police officer. At the recent Jagran Film Festival, Rajpal shared insights about his career and what he would have pursued if he hadn’t become an actor.

Rajpal Yadav’s Upcoming Role in Baby John

Rajpal, who made the audience laugh with his role as the “Chhota Pandit” in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is gearing up for another comedy-packed performance in Baby John. The action-thriller, produced by Atlee, will feature him in the role of a havaldar. Along with his comic touch, he is expected to bring something fresh and entertaining to the audience. The film, starring Varun Dhawan and Vamika Gabbi, is set to release on December 25.

The Importance of Comedy in Cinema

Rajpal Yadav believes comedy plays a crucial role in cinema. He shared, “There are nine rasas (emotions) in the body. If all are favorites, then it’s humor that leads. Laughter brings love, improves blood circulation, and is essential for well-being.” For Rajpal, comedy is not just an art; it’s a vital element that connects with audiences and keeps them engaged emotionally.

His journey in acting started with street theater, and he considers acting as a way to connect deeply with people. “I’ve met wonderful people along the way, from Salman Khan to Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan to Ajay Devgn. I’ve learned a lot from these experiences and have cherished every moment,” he added.

What Would He Have Done If Not an Actor?

When asked what he would have chosen if not for acting, Rajpal revealed his interest in politics and journalism. “In 1990, I began my journey in politics. If I wasn’t an actor, I would have either been a journalist or a politician, as both fields are about expression, just like acting,” he shared. His passion for these fields reflects his belief in using his voice to make a difference in society.

Supporting Fellow Actors

Rajpal also spoke about his relationship with fellow actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who often speaks of Rajpal’s support during his struggles. “It’s Nawaz Bhai’s greatness. Our bond isn’t based on success or failure; we’ve stood by each other through thick and thin,” he said. Rajpal emphasized the importance of camaraderie and mutual respect in the industry, regardless of individual achievements.

With Baby John releasing soon, Rajpal Yadav’s journey continues to inspire many. Whether making us laugh in comedy films or discussing politics, his journey reflects a deep passion for his craft and life. His words remind us that success is not just about individual achievements but about building lasting relationships and supporting others along the way.
