Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha found a unique way to celebrate Karwa Chauth 2026, proving that special occasions do not always need a traditional setting. The couple observed the festival while travelling aboard a flight, with Parineeti sharing a heartwarming video of their celebration at 35,000 feet.
The actress posted the video on Instagram on October 30, giving fans a glimpse of how she completed the traditional ritual despite being away from home. The special moment featured Raghav helping her break the fast, making their celebration memorable.

Parineeti Chopra Shares Karwa Chauth Video from Flight
The video begins with Parineeti recording the moon through the aircraft window. It then captures Raghav Chadha sitting beside her and offering her water as she breaks her fast.
The unusual setting made the celebration particularly special. Instead of observing the ritual at home, the couple marked the occasion inside an aircraft, with the moon visible from thousands of feet above the ground.
Sharing the video, Parineeti wrote, "Karwa Chauth is wherever we are. Even if it's at 35,000 feet! You make all my dreams come true Ragaii. The best man, the best human, the best boii."
The actress's affectionate message reflected her happiness at being able to celebrate the festival with her husband despite their travel commitments.
The video was accompanied by the song 'Surmedani (Unplugged)', featuring the voices of Jyotica Tangri, Avvy Sra and Harmanjit. The music added a romantic touch to the couple's special moment.

One of the most heartwarming moments in the video is Raghav offering Parineeti water as she completes the Karwa Chauth ritual.
Traditionally, married women observe a fast from sunrise until moonrise and break it after viewing the moon through a sieve, followed by seeing their husband's face. The ritual is associated with prayers for the well-being and longevity of one's spouse.
Although the couple was travelling, Parineeti managed to celebrate the occasion with Raghav by her side.
Her post also highlighted how personal traditions can be maintained even when circumstances do not allow families to celebrate in their usual surroundings.
