Speaking about her experience with the lead actors, Nanncy said that Ayushmann made her feel comfortable during the shoot. She appreciated his friendly nature and professionalism, adding that the team shared a positive working environment.

She also spoke about meeting Sara Ali Khan during filming. Although their interaction was limited because they shot together for only a couple of days, Nanncy described the experience as lovely.

According to her, the cast, direction team and production crew worked together like one big family.

Nanncy Gill Plays a Counter-Terrorist Squad Agent

In Udta Teer, Nanncy portrays Sharon, a member of the Counter-Terrorist Squad who is highly focused on serving the country.

Describing her character, the actress explained that Sharon is determined, loyal and serious about her responsibilities. The character is trained in combat and martial arts, possesses strong spy skills and knows how to react quickly in difficult situations.

The role required Nanncy to prepare physically and develop the action skills needed for the character. Her experience with martial arts training also helped her during the preparation process.

How Nanncy Gill Landed Udta Teer

Nanncy revealed that her journey towards Udta Teer began when casting agency Casting Bay contacted her about an action film. She was asked to audition for an important role and submitted an audition video.

A few weeks later, while she was holidaying in Dubai, the casting team asked her to share videos showcasing her fitness, boxing and MMA abilities.

Since she was already learning mixed martial arts, she prepared a boxing video with help from her family and sent it to the team. She then moved on with her holiday, not expecting an immediate response.

Around two weeks later, she received the call confirming that she had been selected for the film.

Her first day on set involved action preparation and rehearsals with Korean action director Oh Se-yeong. It was also when she met Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time.

Nanncy revealed that they quickly found common ground because both actors are from Chandigarh.

A Difficult Chase Sequence Became Her Most Memorable Moment

Among the different shooting experiences, Nanncy particularly remembers filming a chase sequence at a mountainous location.

The shoot took place early in the morning in extremely cold weather and at a considerable height. The sequence required the actors to run repeatedly, making it physically demanding.

Despite extensive preparation before the film, including running on a treadmill at an incline of 16, the repeated takes at high altitude proved challenging.

The actress recalled joking that perhaps she should have trained on a treadmill with an incline of 25.

The experience gave her a glimpse of the physical demands involved in shooting action sequences in challenging outdoor locations.

Nanncy Gill's Upcoming Projects

Apart from her film career, Nanncy is continuing to develop her acting skills internationally. She revealed that she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in the United Kingdom.

She has also been selected for a short-film project in the UK and is looking forward to exploring more opportunities across theatre and screen.

Her decision to continue studying while working on film projects reflects her interest in developing her craft and expanding her experience as an actor.
