Veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal recently faced health issues due to an infection, prompting doctors to advise him to rest. Some reports even suggested that the actor had to be hospitalized. However, there’s good news now, as an update on his health has brought relief to his fans.

The Malayalam film industry and Mohanlal’s fans were left concerned when news broke that the 64-year-old actor was suffering from a viral respiratory infection. He had been experiencing high fever, difficulty breathing, and muscle pain, which led to his admission to a hospital in Kochi. Fortunately, his condition is now improving.

Mohanlal was admitted to Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, where he was diagnosed with a viral respiratory infection. This condition caused him severe symptoms, including high fever and respiratory distress. Additionally, the infection led to myalgia, which is characterized by muscle pain, making his situation more challenging.

Positive Health Update

According to a statement from the hospital, Mohanlal is responding well to treatment, and his symptoms are under control. Dr. Girish Kumar K.P., a professor of medicine at Amrita Hospital, informed that the actor has been advised to rest for five days and avoid crowded places. The good news is that Mohanlal is expected to return to work soon, just in time for the release of his film Barroz in October.
