MnM Talkies Revives Popular Detective Podcast series ‘Bhaskar Bose’ with AI-Powered Visual Experience
Mumbai: One of India’s most popular audio detective franchises is making a powerful comeback. MnM Talkies has officially revived its award-winning podcast series “Bhaskar Bose”, returning with a brand-new season titled “Bhaskar Bose: He’s Here – Part 1.” The latest season recently premiered on Spotify, bringing back the iconic fictional detective after a three-year break.
The revival introduces a unique innovation in Indian audio storytelling. For the first time, select episodes of the podcast will feature AI-generated visuals created using OpenArt AI, allowing audiences to experience the story not only through sound but also through cinematic graphic-novel-style imagery.

Speaking about the new season, Mantra Mugdh said the idea was never to replace imagination but to expand the storytelling experience.
“With the new season of Bhaskar Bose, we are not replacing the theatre of the mind—we’re giving it a visual companion. This is about seeing the sound,” he said.
The series follows the adventures of Bhaskar Bose, a brilliant detective known for his sharp intelligence and instinctive investigative skills. Joining him in solving complex mysteries is his trusted ally ACP Bikesh Das, played by actor Shadaab Hashmi. Together, the duo navigates intriguing cases in a universe inspired by classic detective comics, blending suspense, wit and layered storytelling.
Since its debut in 2019, Bhaskar Bose has grown into one of India’s most celebrated audio fiction series. The podcast was among the earliest shows launched when Spotify entered the Indian podcast market and notably stood out as one of the few fictional storytelling formats in the platform’s early lineup.
Over the years, the franchise has built an impressive legacy with more than 250 episodes, over 100 investigative cases and more than 5,000 minutes of storytelling content. The series has attracted millions of listeners worldwide and continues to maintain a strong fan following.
