Mirzapur The Movie Advance Booking Picks Up

According to Zoom TV, Mirzapur The Movie advance booking has received a strong response since opening. The report, citing Sacnilk data, stated that around 23,813 tickets had already been sold for the 2D Hindi version.

The reported pre-sale collection was around ₹78.89 lakh without block seats, while the figure crossed ₹1.87 crore when block seats were included.

More recent tracking has shown the momentum continuing. Sacnilk reported that by September 2 morning, the film had sold more than 66,000 tickets across Hindi and Telugu shows, with India advance gross of around ₹1.93 crore excluding block seats and ₹3.29 crore including block seats.

Kaleen Bhaiya Warns Fans: Book Your Tickets

To build more excitement around the release, the makers have released a special promotional video featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey in their familiar Mirzapur characters.

Kaleen Bhaiya appears in his trademark powerful style and warns fans that delaying their ticket booking could be a “heavy risk.” Guddu Pandit also adds to the excitement by warning viewers that missing the film could mean hearing the story from someone else.

The promo is clearly designed to remind fans of the show's signature dialogues and intense rivalry while encouraging them to experience the story in theatres.

Fans Will See Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu and Munna Together

One of the biggest attractions of Mirzapur: The Movie is the return of several characters who made the franchise hugely popular.

Pankaj Tripathi's Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal's Guddu Pandit and Divyenndu's Munna Bhaiya are among the key characters returning for the film. The cast also includes Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal and Shweta Tripathi.

The return of Munna Bhaiya has been particularly exciting for fans, as Divyenndu's character became one of the most memorable figures in the original series.

What Can Fans Expect From the Movie?

The film is expected to take the Mirzapur universe from streaming to the big screen with a larger cinematic scale.

The makers have promised action, thriller and suspense, while retaining the crime-drama atmosphere that made the series popular. The central power struggle involving Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit remains one of the biggest reasons for audience curiosity.

Trade reports are also predicting a strong opening. Early estimates have placed the film's potential opening in the ₹15–20 crore range, with some forecasts suggesting it could go higher if the advance booking momentum continues.

When Is Mirzapur: The Movie Releasing?

Mirzapur: The Movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 4, 2026. The film will release in Hindi and Telugu and has received an A certificate from the CBFC.

With only a short time left before release, advance ticket sales are expected to rise further.

The big question now is whether the massive fan following of the Mirzapur web series will translate into a major theatrical opening. If the current booking trend continues, Mirzapur: The Movie could be heading for a strong start at the box office.
