In a conversation with ANI, Kej expressed his optimism, saying, “I’ve already won three Grammy Awards, and this is my fourth nomination. I am hopeful that it will lead to my fourth win.”

Who Is Ricky Kej?

Ricky Kej is an Indian artist born in North Carolina, USA, in 1981 to a Punjabi-Marwari family. From a young age, music was his passion. When he was eight, his family moved to Bengaluru, India, where he attended Bishop Cotton School. Following his schooling, he pursued a dental degree at Oxford College but remained deeply connected to his musical pursuits throughout his education. Over the years, Kej’s dedication and talent have led him to three Grammy wins, with a potential fourth now on the horizon.

What Is Break of Dawn About?

Kej’s latest album, Break of Dawn, emphasizes the importance of environmental consciousness for current and future generations. Discussing the essence of the album, Kej shared, “Break of Dawn aims to inspire a kinder, more compassionate, and environmentally aware society through the power of music. The album, which is rooted in the ancient melodies of India, consists of nine tracks, each crafted from traditional Indian ragas. It has been meticulously composed to enhance mental health and well-being, focusing on wellness music that is deeply inspired by Indian culture.”
