Manisha Rani Reveals Delay in Receiving Prize Money Despite Winning Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11

Reality show winners often achieve overnight fame and success. However, the journey post their win isn’t always smooth, as revealed by Manisha Rani, the winner of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11’. Despite clinching the title, Manisha is yet to receive her prize money, a revelation she made in a recent vlog.

Manisha Rani, who has transitioned from being a social media influencer to a renowned name in the television industry, gained immense popularity after winning ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11’. With numerous song releases and a growing fan base, she has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment world. Alongside her achievements, she has won the hearts of millions.

However, in a candid vlog shared by Manisha, she disclosed that she hasn’t received the prize money she earned from winning the reality show. The vlog also featured her friend Mahesh Keshavala, popularly known as ‘Thagesh’, discussing plans for opening a tea shop. Jokingly, Manisha mentioned that Thagesh could run the shop, to which he responded that with the prize money from ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11’, she should be the one opening the shop.

Amid their playful banter, Manisha humorously stated, “They might cut half the money,” hinting at possible financial deductions from her prize money. This revelation left her fans astonished and raised questions about the transparency of prize distribution in reality shows.

This isn’t the first time a reality show winner has spoken out about financial discrepancies post their win. Earlier, Shiv Thakare, the first runner-up of ‘Bigg Boss 16’, had also opened up about receiving only half of the promised prize money after winning ‘Marathi Bigg Boss’. He revealed on a podcast show that various expenses were deducted from his prize money, and after tax deductions, he received a significantly reduced amount.

Such revelations by reality show winners highlight the challenges they face even after achieving success and emphasize the need for more transparent and fair prize distribution systems in reality television.
