Madhu Chopra, the mother of Priyanka Chopra, has extended her blessings to her niece Parineeti Chopra ahead of her engagement to politician Raghav Chadha, which is set to take place this weekend. She expressed her happiness for the couple. Priyanka is reportedly flying to India this weekend specifically for the engagement ceremony, which will be held privately in Delhi on May 13. The preparations for the event are already underway in the nation’s capital.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were first seen together after having dinner in Mumbai in March, and have since been spotted together on numerous occasions by the paparazzi. The couple has been travelling together between Delhi and Mumbai, but has kept their relationship private and has not confirmed it publicly. Parineeti Chopra has been seen frequently visiting the residence of designer Manish Malhotra, who is rumored to be designing her engagement outfit. Manish Malhotra had earlier designed the wedding outfits for actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra earlier this year.
Parineeti Chopra’s aunt, Madhu Chopra, has confirmed the engagement news and expressed her happiness for the couple. Parineeti, who is the daughter of Pawan Chopra and Reena Chopra, is first cousins with Priyanka Chopra. The couple’s engagement is reportedly taking place this weekend, and Parineeti’s younger brothers, Shivang Chopra and Sahaj Chopra, are said to be finalizing the food menu for the occasion.

Priyanka Chopra is expected to attend the engagement ceremony this weekend, but it is uncertain whether her husband, Nick Jonas, and daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, will join her. Along with the Chopra family, the guest list for the event is expected to include Parineeti’s close friends, such as former tennis player Sania Mirza, filmmaker Karan Johar, and designer Manish Malhotra.
Parineeti Chopra’s last film was Sooraj Barjatya’s “Uunchai” in 2020. She began her acting career in a supporting role in the romantic comedy “Ladies vs Ricky Bahl” with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in 2011. She has upcoming films including Imtiaz Ali’s “Chamkila” with Diljit Dosanjh and “Capsule Gill” with Akshay Kumar set to release later this year. Raghav Chadha, her fiancé, is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party and a Member of Parliament.
