‘Love and War’ Film Release Date Announced: A Clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’
Excitement is building in Bollywood with the announcement of the release date for the much-anticipated film Love and War. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, this epic drama will make its debut in theaters on March 20, 2026.
Since its announcement, Love and War has been the talk of the town, primarily due to its stellar cast. This film will see Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal sharing screen space for the first time. Although Vicky Kaushal has previously worked with both Kapoor and Bhatt—appearing with Bhatt in Raazi and with Kapoor in Sanju—this will be the first film to bring all three actors together in one project.
The film’s release is highly awaited, but fans will need to wait a bit longer as it is scheduled for 2026. This extended timeline ensures that the filmmakers have ample time to deliver a polished and captivating cinematic experience.
In the meantime, Kapoor will be busy wrapping up his role in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which is reportedly 90% complete. After finishing Ramayana, Kapoor will shift focus to Love and War, while Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will also be preparing for their roles in the upcoming film by concluding their current commitments.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, Love and War will be released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film King. Scheduled for an Eid release, King will also feature Suhana Khan, creating a significant face-off at the box office. This simultaneous release promises a thrilling competition between two major Bollywood projects.
As the release date approaches, both fans and critics are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Love and War, which is expected to be a visually stunning and dramatic addition to Bollywood’s film landscape.
