With Ramayana: Part 1 arriving in theatres, actress Indira Krishnan has taken a trip down memory lane by sharing unseen photographs from the film's first cast reading session. The actress, who portrays Mata Kaushalya, Lord Rama's mother, posted a series of pictures on Instagram and accompanied them with heartfelt messages for her co-stars and the filmmaking team.
Indira reserved special praise for Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Rama in the mythological epic. Having previously worked with him in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, she said she had witnessed a remarkable transformation in the actor, both in his performance and his personality on set.
Her post also included warm words for Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, director Nitesh Tiwari and other members of the crew.
Indira Krishnan Calls Ranbir Kapoor a 'Pure Soul' Actor

Sharing a photograph from the first cast reading session, Indira recalled how memorable the day had been. She said the film's release brought back memories of the early days when the cast first came together.

Special Message for Sai Pallavi

She also praised Rakul Preet Singh, who plays Surpanakha, for her politeness and cheerful nature on set.
The actress acknowledged casting director Mukesh Chhabra for bringing the ensemble together and appreciated Jay Kar's work behind the camera. Recalling the scale of the production, she mentioned a particular setup that involved more than 80 cameras.
She concluded her message by thanking the entire team and expressing her appreciation for producer Namit Malhotra's vision behind the film.
