Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah have always made headlines, whether for their professional successes or personal differences. Although there were rumors that the two resolved their differences and moved on, recent events hint that the feud might not be entirely over. A viral Instagram story by Honey Singh has reignited conversations among fans about their rivalry.

Honey Singh’s Subtle Dig at Badshah

Recently, Honey Singh shared a promo video of Indian Idol 15 on his Instagram story, seemingly taking a jab at Badshah. In the clip, Badshah performs a freestyle rap in front of co-judges Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal. The quirky lines of his rap went, “Delhi ka golgappa, Mumbai ki bhelpuri, Chandigarh ki lassi ko gut-gut pee jaate hain” (loosely meaning they consume street foods from various cities without hesitation).

Sharing the video on his story, Honey Singh humorously captioned it: “If I could get lyrics like these, I’d be a superstar!” followed by a laughing emoji. This playful remark has left fans speculating whether the rapper was making fun of Badshah’s lyrics.

The Complicated History of Honey Singh and Badshah

The relationship between Honey Singh and Badshah has always been a topic of intrigue. Though they were once part of the same group, Mafia Mundeer, things took a turn, leading to the group’s split in 2010. The exact reason for their fallout remains unclear, but both rappers have released diss tracks targeting each other in the past.

In an earlier interview, Honey Singh expressed that he finds it hard to connect with people who aren’t “real.” While he didn’t name Badshah directly, the comment was believed to refer to Badshah’s privileged background. Singh went on to appreciate rappers like Raftaar, Lil Golu, and Ikka, who, according to him, made a name for themselves from the ground up.

What’s Next for Honey Singh and Badshah?

Fans are once again curious about the current state of their relationship. Although they were said to have buried the hatchet after a 15-year-long feud, Honey Singh’s recent post suggests otherwise. Some believe it might just be playful banter, but it has undoubtedly brought their rivalry back into the spotlight.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited Indian Idol 15 is set to premiere on October 26, with Badshah, Vishal Dadlani, and Shreya Ghoshal as judges. Whether this latest exchange will escalate further or remain a light-hearted dig is something only time will tell.
