Kantara 2 serves as the prequel to the original movie, and makers will ceremoniously launch the film with a muhurat puja, scheduled to kickstart on November 27th. A lavish and grand set is being constructed for this period drama, where actors-director Rishabh Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and other cast and crew members will be present. Post the muhurat puja, producers plan to commence principal photography in December, gradually unveiling the remaining cast members over time.
It's noteworthy that 'Kantara,' released in September last year, garnered widespread acclaim from global audiences for its storytelling, stellar performances, editing, and divine music. The film delved into the exploration of human relationships with the divine, becoming one of the biggest blockbusters to grace the silver screen.
