Recently, Bollywood veteran Govinda faced a terrifying incident when he accidentally shot himself in the leg. After being admitted to the hospital, the news left both his family and fans in shock. Now, three days after the accident, Govinda has been discharged from the hospital and opened up about the incident, recounting the events of that fateful morning.

The renowned Bollywood actor Govinda has been in the headlines lately due to a gun-related accident. The actor accidentally shot himself in the leg, which led to his admission to the ICU for treatment. On October 4th, Govinda was discharged from the hospital and shared the entire story of how this unexpected mishap occurred.

How Did the Incident Happen?

Govinda revealed that the incident took place on October 1st when he was cleaning his revolver. While doing so, the gun accidentally misfired, and the bullet hit his leg. Speaking to the media after his discharge from the Criticare Hospital in Mumbai, Govinda gave a detailed account of the incident.

As he sat in a wheelchair, the actor was asked whether he was alone when the accident occurred. He replied, “I was getting ready for a show in Kolkata. It was around 4:45 in the morning, and I was handling the gun when it suddenly fell and went off. I was shocked by what had happened. The next thing I knew, blood was gushing out like a fountain.”

Govinda was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he received treatment for his injury. Fortunately, after three days of recovery, the actor was discharged and is now doing well.

Bollywood Stars Visit Govinda

As news of Govinda’s accident spread, several Bollywood stars visited him in the hospital. Director David Dhawan, who had previously fallen out with Govinda, set aside their differences and came to check on him. Comedian Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah also visited the actor, despite past tensions between them. Additionally, actress Raveena Tandon was spotted outside the hospital.

Govinda later released an audio message to update his fans about his condition, assuring them that he was recovering well.
