Gayathri Suresh has made a shocking revelation about a past relationship during her stint on Bigg Boss Malayalam 8. The actress spoke about an emotionally difficult chapter of her life and described the relationship as a toxic “situationship” that left a lasting impact on her.
During a task inside the Bigg Boss house, Gayathri was asked what she would tell the person who had hurt or traumatised her the most. The question prompted her to revisit an experience dating back to 2021.
According to Gayathri, she initially believed she was in a genuine relationship but later realised that the equation was very different from what she had imagined.
1. Her Ex Asked a Shocking Question
Gayathri revealed that she noticed red flags very early in the relationship. She recalled that within the first week, the man allegedly asked her whether she had AIDS.
The question disturbed her so much that she initially decided to cut communication with him. However, Gayathri later began questioning whether she had reacted too negatively and decided to continue the relationship.
She explained that although she usually notices warning signs quickly, she tends to give people several chances before removing them from her life. Looking back, she now considers that decision one of the signs she should have taken more seriously.

The situation became even more complicated when Gayathri discovered that the man was allegedly involved with another woman.
She said that she had initially considered their equation a relationship but later understood that it was more of a situationship. According to her account, the discovery made her realise that the relationship was not what she had believed it to be.
Gayathri also acknowledged that she was going through a difficult phase herself at the time. However, she said she never intended to hurt anyone and ultimately learned important lessons from the experience.

3. What Happened After the 2021 Car Accident
Gayathri also connected the relationship to the controversial car accident involving her in 2021. She recalled that she had insisted on meeting the man during a difficult period in her life, after which they travelled together in a car.
The vehicle was involved in an accident, and according to reports, the incident later became a major controversy after the car allegedly left the scene before being stopped. Police subsequently became involved.
Gayathri said that what happened after the accident was even more painful for her. She recalled that after returning from the police station, the man left her alone at a café and went to meet another girlfriend.
She described that moment as one of the most traumatising experiences of that period in her life.

Despite everything that happened, Gayathri now looks at the painful chapter differently. She said that if she ever meets the person again, she would actually thank him for leaving her life.
