Bollywood Mascot: Fardeen Khan, known for his notable role in the 2005 hit comedy No Entry, has finally addressed his exclusion from the highly anticipated sequel, No Entry 2. The original film, which was a major success and remains a favorite among audiences, featured an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitly, and Lara Dutta.

Recently, producer Boney Kapoor announced No Entry 2, but the sequel will see a significant change in the cast. Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, who were central to the original film, have been replaced by Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Fardeen Khan shared his thoughts on not being part of the sequel. He explained that the decision to exclude him was not something he had control over and suggested contacting Boney Kapoor for more details. Fardeen reflected on his role in the original film, saying, “As an actor, this was my first attempt at comedy, where I had to play a somewhat foolish, humorous, and naïve character. It was quite different from my usual roles and gave me a fresh perspective on acting.”

Fardeen also highlighted that the original No Entry was a remake of the 2002 film Charlie Chaplin, in which his role was portrayed by Prabhu Deva. He credited Boney Kapoor for his trust in him and his role, saying, “Boney Kapoor believed in me for this role, and it was his confidence that encouraged me to take on the challenge.”

Despite his absence from the sequel, Fardeen Khan has been active in the film industry, marking his return to the big screen after a 14-year hiatus with Khel Khel Mein. He is also currently seen in the film Vikram Vedha.
