Farah Khan Reminds Paparazzi Of Salman Khan’s Warning

Farah Khan recently had a brief but pointed exchange with photographers in Mumbai when she asked them not to click her from inappropriate angles. Referring to Salman Khan’s recent comments on Bigg Boss 20, the filmmaker told the paparazzi, “Salman bhai ne bola na peeche se nahi lene ka, turn karo.” Her reaction comes days after Salman publicly criticised intrusive photography of female celebrities and urged photographers to respect their boundaries.

Bollywood News: Farah Khan has joined the conversation around paparazzi photography after asking photographers not to capture her from inappropriate angles during a recent outing in Mumbai. The filmmaker directly reminded them of Salman Khan’s recent warning on Bigg Boss 20, where the superstar spoke about intrusive pictures of female celebrities.

Farah’s brief interaction with the photographers has now attracted attention because of the way she connected her request with Salman’s comments from the reality show.

Farah Khan Tells Photographers To Turn Their Cameras

Farah Khan was recently spotted by photographers during an outing in Mumbai. When she noticed the paparazzi waiting for her, she reportedly asked them why they had come.

Referring to Salman Khan’s recent comments, she told them, “Salman bhai ne bola na peeche se nahi lene ka, turn karo, turn karo.” The statement translates roughly to Salman telling photographers not to take pictures from behind and asking them to turn their cameras.

Salman Khan Had Raised The Issue On Bigg Boss 20

Farah’s comment comes shortly after Salman Khan addressed paparazzi culture during a recent Bigg Boss 20 episode.

During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman criticised photographers for taking intrusive pictures of actresses, particularly when they are getting out of cars or walking away from cameras.

He referred to situations where cameras focus on body parts or capture celebrities from angles they may not be comfortable with. Salman also mentioned examples involving Saiee Manjrekar, Neha Dhupia and his own niece while explaining why he found the practice problematic.

Salman Questioned The ‘Behind-The-Back’ Pictures

One particular issue highlighted by Salman was the practice of photographing women from behind.

He questioned why photographers should take such pictures when some celebrities clearly appear uncomfortable with them. Salman argued that the person being photographed should have a say in how their pictures are captured.

His remarks became widely discussed after the episode, with the conversation shifting toward celebrity privacy and the boundaries between paparazzi coverage and intrusive photography.

Farah Khan Brings Salman’s Warning Into Real Life

Farah’s interaction is notable because she directly referred to Salman’s comments while speaking to photographers herself.

Instead of making a lengthy statement, she used a simple reminder: “Salman bhai ne bola na…” Her words indicated that she was aware of the discussion sparked by the Bigg Boss 20 episode and wanted the photographers to follow the boundary Salman had talked about.

The moment also shows how comments made on a television reality show can quickly become part of conversations outside the show.

Salman Later Posed For The Paparazzi

Interestingly, Salman Khan’s criticism did not mean that he completely avoided photographers.

After the Bigg Boss 20 episode, Salman was spotted at a recording studio late Tuesday night. According to Hindustan Times and Times of India, he stopped and posed for the photographers when they requested pictures.

The interaction appeared considerably more relaxed, with photographers also speaking to Salman in a softer manner and thanking him after he posed for them.

Salman Said Established Paparazzi Are Usually Respectful

During his discussion on Bigg Boss 20, Salman also made a distinction between established paparazzi and people who simply arrive with cameras or mobile phones.

He said that senior photographers have traditionally been respectful, while newer or unaffiliated people carrying cameras can sometimes cross boundaries. He suggested that established paparazzi should also discourage such behaviour from people who are not part of their professional groups.

Fatima Sana Shaikh Also Praised Salman’s Stand

Salman’s comments received attention beyond the Bigg Boss house. Times of India reported that actress Fatima Sana Shaikh later praised him for raising the issue.

The discussion has consequently expanded beyond one celebrity or one incident, focusing on how public figures are photographed and what limits should exist when cameras follow them in public places.

Farah Khan’s Straightforward Response Goes Viral

Farah Khan’s reaction has now become another talking point from the ongoing conversation about paparazzi culture.

Her statement was brief, direct and closely connected to Salman Khan’s earlier comments. By telling photographers to “turn” their cameras, she made her preference clear without turning the interaction into a prolonged confrontation.

The incident also comes at a time when celebrity photography continues to generate discussions about privacy, consent and appropriate boundaries.

For Farah Khan, however, the message was simple: photographers can click her, but they should do so from an angle she is comfortable with.
