While there have been many films about the Godhra riots, very few have focused on the burning of the Sabarmati train itself. This was a massive moment in Indian history. Just as 9/11 is remembered in the U.S., the Sabarmati train burning was a defining moment in India, but till today, we don't have clarity on what actually happened. This is why the film holds immense significance for us as Indians."
