Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited Drishyam The Conclusion has cleared an important pre-release milestone. The film has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without a single cut or audio-visual modification. According to the censor certificate, the movie has a runtime of 150 minutes, or 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The certification comes just days before the film’s scheduled theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
Drishyam The Conclusion Gets A Clean CBFC Certificate
According to Bollywood Hungama’s report, the CBFC’s Examining Committee did not ask the makers to remove any scene or make changes to the film’s audio or visuals.
Even additional requirements that can sometimes be sought during certification, such as changes to title or credits presentation or the addition of anti-drug warnings, were reportedly not requested in this case. The makers received the censor certificate on September 28.
The film has therefore reached the final stages of its theatrical release without any reported censorship-related alteration.
Film Gets U/A 16+ Certification
Drishyam The Conclusion has been certified U/A 16+. This classification comes ahead of its October 2 theatrical debut and gives audiences a clear indication of the age classification attached to the final theatrical version.
Interestingly, Drishyam 2 was also passed without cuts, making Drishyam The Conclusion the second film in the Hindi franchise to receive a U/A certification with zero cuts.
Drishyam 3 Is 8 Minutes Longer Than Drishyam 2
The other major detail from the censor certificate is the film’s runtime.
Drishyam The Conclusion runs for 150 minutes, which translates to exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes. That makes it eight minutes longer than Drishyam 2, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 22 minutes.
The first Hindi Drishyam, released in 2015, remains the longest film in the franchise with a reported runtime of 162 minutes.

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, the central character of the Hindi Drishyam franchise.
Vijay became known for his ability to create elaborate plans to protect his family after the events of the first film. The third chapter continues his story and brings another major challenge to the Salgaonkar family.
The film also brings back Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar and Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh.
Jaideep Ahlawat And Prakash Raj Join The Story
The upcoming film also expands the franchise with new characters played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj.
Jaideep Ahlawat plays Rajveer Singh Tomar, an SP from the Crime Branch, while Prakash Raj joins the franchise as lawyer Indrajith Shetty. Their characters are expected to add new dimensions to Vijay’s continuing struggle to protect his family.
The cast also includes Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant.
Abhishek Pathak Returns As Director
Drishyam The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also helmed Drishyam 2.
The film is written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. It is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The project is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios.
October 2 Release Remains On Track
With the CBFC certificate now issued, Drishyam The Conclusion is set for its theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
The certification confirms three important details ahead of the release: the film carries a U/A 16+ certificate, it has received zero cuts, and its final certified runtime is 150 minutes.
