Bollywood News: Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion is already making a strong impact at the ticket counters before its theatrical release. The final chapter of the popular Drishyam franchise is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026, and its advance booking numbers are showing considerable demand.
The film has crossed the ₹25 crore mark in advance gross bookings for its first four days, according to the latest reported trade data. The opening day alone has contributed more than ₹13 crore in advance sales.
Drishyam The Conclusion Advance Booking Crosses ₹25 Crore
The latest advance-booking figures indicate that audiences are showing strong interest in the third instalment.
According to NDTV Profit's report based on trade data, Drishyam: The Conclusion had generated around ₹25.5 crore in gross advance bookings across its first four days by September 30. The film had crossed ₹13 crore for its opening day, while Maharashtra emerged as one of the biggest contributing markets with approximately ₹4.4 crore. Delhi and Gujarat were also among the important markets for advance sales.
These figures represent ticket sales before the film has even reached theatres.
Opening Day Bookings Show Strong Demand
The October 2 release is particularly important for Drishyam: The Conclusion because the film is arriving on a national holiday.
Earlier advance-booking data had already shown rapid growth. By September 29, the film had recorded ₹8.97 crore in Day 1 advance gross and sold around 2.24 lakh tickets, according to data cited by India Today. Across its first three days, the film had accumulated approximately ₹17.35 crore in advance bookings at that stage.
The numbers have continued to rise as the release date approaches.
Ajay Devgn Returns As Vijay Salgaonkar
The biggest attraction of Drishyam: The Conclusion is undoubtedly Ajay Devgn's return as Vijay Salgaonkar.
Vijay has become one of the most recognisable characters in the franchise, particularly because of his ability to remain calm while protecting his family from a complicated criminal investigation.
The new film brings back several important members of the previous cast, including Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar, Ishita Dutta as Anju, Mrunal Jadhav as Anu and Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh.
Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj are among the new additions to the cast.
October 2 Release Adds To The Box Office Opportunity
Drishyam: The Conclusion is releasing on October 2, 2026, giving the film the benefit of the Gandhi Jayanti holiday.
The makers had opened advance booking on September 27, five days before the theatrical release. The film is being presented by Star Studio18 and produced under Panorama Studios, with Abhishek Pathak directing the concluding chapter.
The holiday timing gives the film access to a potentially strong opening-day audience across major markets.
Drishyam 3 Is Showing Bigger Pre-Release Interest
The current advance figures are considerably higher than the corresponding pre-release numbers reported for Drishyam 2.
For context, Drishyam 2 opened in theatres in November 2022 and collected approximately ₹15.38 crore net in India on its first day. By September 29, Drishyam: The Conclusion had already crossed its predecessor's final reported advance-booking figure, according to Hindustan Times.
Trade reports subsequently recorded further growth in the advance sales.
Drishyam The Conclusion Is The Franchise Finale
The upcoming film has been positioned as the final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam story.
The first film arrived in 2015, introducing audiences to Vijay Salgaonkar and his family. Drishyam 2 continued the story in 2022 and became a major box-office success.
The third instalment is expected to continue from the events surrounding Vijay and his family while introducing new complications. Unlike simply following the Malayalam franchise's third story, the Hindi version has been described as having a fresh script.
The Cast Adds More Intrigue
Along with Ajay Devgn and the returning cast, Drishyam: The Conclusion features actors such as Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj.
Their presence has added another layer of curiosity around the final chapter, particularly because the franchise has traditionally depended on the tension between Vijay's family and the investigation surrounding them.
The combination of returning characters and new faces is expected to play an important role in taking the story toward its conclusion.
What The Advance Booking Means For The Film
Advance booking figures cannot determine the final box-office result, but they provide an early indication of ticket demand before release.
In the case of Drishyam: The Conclusion, the steady rise in pre-sales has already attracted considerable trade attention. Earlier estimates had placed the film's potential opening in the ₹40 crore range, although such projections can change once actual occupancy and walk-in audiences are known.
The film will ultimately have to convert its pre-release demand into actual theatre footfalls after October 2.
Drishyam The Conclusion Release Date
Ajay Devgn's Drishyam: The Conclusion will release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
With advance bookings already generating more than ₹25 crore in gross sales across the first four days, the film has entered its final pre-release phase with considerable attention at the ticket counters.
The coming days will reveal whether the strong advance demand translates into a major opening for the concluding chapter of the Vijay Salgaonkar saga.
