Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn Film Continues Its Impressive Theatrical Run

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 continues its impressive theatrical run and is closing in on the ₹200 crore mark in India. Meanwhile, The Vvan is struggling to make a significant impact at the box office.

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has emerged as one of the biggest theatrical performers of 2026. Released on October 2, the film enjoyed a powerful opening weekend and continued to dominate the box office even after entering its first weekday phase.

The third instalment of the popular crime-thriller franchise has already crossed the ₹200 crore mark in India according to the latest trade tracking updates, while another major report puts its Day 5 India net collection at over ₹207 crore. The exact figures can vary across trade trackers until final numbers are reported.

1. Ajay Devgn’s Film Enters the ₹200 Crore Club

Drishyam 3 has achieved the ₹200 crore milestone at remarkable speed. The film opened strongly on Friday and maintained its momentum throughout the weekend.

According to reported trade figures, the movie collected around ₹66.75 crore net on its opening day and added ₹53.50 crore on Saturday. By the end of its first three days, its India net collection had reached approximately ₹176.50 crore.

The Monday collection saw the expected weekday drop, with the film reportedly earning around ₹21 crore net. This took its four-day domestic total close to the ₹200 crore mark, before Tuesday collections pushed it beyond the milestone.

2. Drishyam 3 Beats Its Own Franchise Expectations

The performance of Drishyam 3 is particularly significant because it has opened far ahead of its predecessors.

Drishyam, released in 2015, started with a relatively modest opening but gradually became a successful word-of-mouth film. Drishyam 2, released in 2022, performed considerably better and eventually became one of Ajay Devgn’s biggest commercial successes.

The third film has taken the franchise to another level altogether. Its opening weekend collection of around ₹176.50 crore net made it one of the biggest Bollywood weekend openers of 2026. It also surpassed the opening-weekend collections of several major releases, including Border 2, Toxic (Hindi) and Mirzapur: The Movie.

The film has also reportedly crossed ₹300 crore worldwide, adding to its impressive theatrical run.

3. The Vvan Struggles Against Drishyam 3

While Drishyam 3 is enjoying a strong run, the same cannot be said for The Vvan.

The film has struggled to match the audience response received by Ajay Devgn’s thriller. With Drishyam 3 dominating screens and attracting large crowds, other releases have faced considerable competition for shows and audiences.

The contrast is especially visible during the weekday period, when films with stronger word-of-mouth usually retain a larger share of available audiences.

The Vvan has therefore found itself fighting an uphill battle at the box office, with its collections remaining far below those of Drishyam 3.

Drishyam 3 Eyes the Next Big Milestones

With the ₹200 crore milestone now within reach or already crossed depending on the latest tracker, the focus has shifted to how far Drishyam 3 can go.

The film is now expected to target the ₹225 crore and ₹250 crore marks in India. Its performance in the second week will be particularly important, as upcoming releases and weekday trends will determine whether it can maintain its current momentum.

For Ajay Devgn, the success of Drishyam 3 is another major addition to his box-office record. The film has not only strengthened one of Bollywood’s most popular franchises but has also established itself as one of the biggest theatrical successes of the year.
