Dilip Kumar’s lavish Pali Hill bungalow has undergone a stunning renovation. A few years ago, the Asher Group took on the responsibility of renovating Dilip Kumar’s bungalow. The renovation process began in 2023, with plans not only to transform the bungalow into a splendid complex but also to create a museum in honor of Dilip Kumar.
The Stunning Sale of a Triplex Apartment
Recently, news broke that a triplex apartment in this newly transformed complex was sold for a jaw-dropping amount. According to reports, a sea-facing triplex apartment was sold for an astounding 172 crore INR.
Details of the High-Value Transaction
As per Zapkey.com, the triplex apartment in the complex was purchased by the infrastructure company APCO Infratech Private Limited. The property, with a carpet area of 9,527 square feet, is situated on the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors. The apartment was sold at a rate of 1.62 lakh INR per square foot. The stamp duty for this transaction was 9.3 crore INR, and the registration fee was 30,000 INR. However, the exact amount of the triplex has not been confirmed yet.
The Controversy Surrounding the Pali Hill Bungalow of Dilip Kumar
A few years ago, Dilip Kumar’s family accused a builder of forging documents to seize their property. The case went to court, and after a lengthy legal battle, Saira Banu won the case and regained possession of the bungalow. In 2023, it was reported that the Pali Hill bungalow was being converted into a complex, which would also feature a museum dedicated to the legendary actor. Dilip Kumar passed away in 2021.
