Chhapaak Poster: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have returned to work after getting married last month. Ranveer Singh stars to promote his upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba. Whereas Deepika Padukone announced her upcoming film Chhapaak and started the film shooting. Chhapaak, which will helm by Meghna Gulzar, features Deepika Padukone as a Laxmi Agarwal, an acid-attack survivor.
On Monday morning, Deepika Padukone shares Chhapaak announcement poster on her Instagram account. The actress shared a photo that read, “A STORY OF TRAUMA AND TRIUMPH AND THE UNQUASHABLE HUMAN SPIRIT.” She captioned it, “#Chhapaak @meghnagulzar @vikrantmassey87 @foxstarhindi.”

Chhapaak, which also stars Vikrant Massey as Deepika Padukone’s on-screen husband, is Meghna Gulzar’s sixth film as a director. She earlier directed films like Filhaal, Just Married, Dus Kahaniyaan, Talvar and Raazi. Chhapaak will be co-produced by Fox Star Studios.
Apart from Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone also signed Vishal Bhardwaj’s next along with Irfan Khan.
