Bigg Boss 20 has introduced its first wild card contestant, television actor Manish Goel, bringing a fresh twist to Salman Khan’s reality show. His entry took place during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, which aired on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Manish joined Salman Khan on stage before being introduced to the contestants inside the house. His arrival came as a surprise because the housemates were initially led to believe that the actor had come to promote an upcoming project.
The playful introduction soon turned into a major development for the season when his actual role was revealed. With a new contestant entering the competition, the existing housemates will have to adjust to another personality, potentially changing the equations inside the house.
Manish also got an opportunity to share his first impressions of the contestants. His observations immediately attracted attention, especially because he already knew some people from the television industry.
Salman Khan Plays a Prank on the Housemates
The latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode featured Salman Khan introducing Manish Goel in an unexpected manner. The host and the actor played along with the idea that Manish had arrived to promote an upcoming project, keeping the contestants guessing about the real purpose of his appearance.
The reveal that he was entering the competition as a wild card added another layer of excitement to the episode. Wild card contestants often arrive when the existing housemates have already developed friendships, rivalries and strategies, making their entry particularly interesting.
Unlike contestants who begin their journey on the first day, Manish enters a house where relationships and alliances are already taking shape. His experience in television could help him understand the dynamics of reality entertainment, although adapting to the Bigg Boss environment will be a different challenge.
Whether he chooses to build new friendships or challenge established groups remains to be seen in the coming episodes.
Manish Goel Calls Mahhi Vij Calculative
One of the notable moments following Manish’s entry came when he shared his opinion about the housemates. Speaking about Mahhi Vij, he described the actress as “calculative”.
The remark attracted attention because Mahhi appeared excited to see Manish, with the two reportedly having known each other for several years. Their familiarity could create an interesting dynamic inside the house as the season progresses.
Calling someone calculative can suggest that they carefully consider their decisions and actions before making a move. In a competition such as Bigg Boss, where contestants must balance personal relationships with the demands of the game, such observations can quickly become talking points.
However, Manish’s first impressions are only an early indication of how he views the contestants. His opinions may evolve as he spends more time with them and witnesses their behaviour during tasks, arguments and nominations.
Who Is Manish Goel? Television Career and Popular Shows
Manish Goel is a familiar face to Hindi television audiences, having appeared in several popular serials over the years. His television credits include Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Bhabhi, Devi, Bhagyalakshmi, Ayushman Bhava, Tantra and Hamari Wali Good News.
He was also seen in Anupamaa, one of Hindi television’s widely watched family dramas. His experience across different shows has allowed him to work in a variety of fictional settings and with several established television personalities.
Apart from television serials, Manish has participated in reality programmes. He competed with his wife, Poonam Narula, in the first season of the celebrity dance show Nach Baliye, where the couple finished as runners-up.
He also appeared in programmes such as Zara Nachke Dikha, Say Shava Shava and Ustaadon Ka Ustaad. In 2013, he won the celebrity cooking reality show Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.
His participation in Bigg Boss 20 now gives viewers an opportunity to see a different side of the actor beyond his scripted television roles.
Salman Khan Hints at Another Wild Card Entry
Manish Goel’s arrival may not be the only major development in the ongoing season. Salman Khan hinted towards the end of the episode that another contestant could enter the house on Sunday, October 11.
The announcement has sparked speculation about the identity of the next wild card contestant. Social media influencer and content creator Nakul Dhull, popularly known as Mitthu Don, has been mentioned in media reports as a possible entrant.
However, the reported identity should be treated cautiously until the show’s makers officially confirm the contestant’s entry. The possibility has nevertheless added to the anticipation surrounding the next Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
A second wild card entry so soon after Manish’s arrival could introduce further changes to the competition. New contestants can influence alliances, challenge existing strategies and bring fresh perspectives to ongoing disagreements.
Will Manish Goel Change the Game Inside Bigg Boss 20?
Manish Goel’s entry comes at a stage when the contestants have already spent considerable time together and begun forming their own equations. His television experience and familiarity with some industry personalities could help him navigate the house, but the reality show will test his ability to handle pressure and conflict.
His early assessment of Mahhi Vij has already provided a glimpse of the opinions he may express openly. The way other contestants respond to his observations could influence his relationships during the initial days.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s hint about another possible entrant has left viewers waiting for the next development.
With Manish Goel now inside the house and another wild card reportedly on the way, Bigg Boss 20 appears ready for a fresh phase of competition. The real impact of these entries will become clearer as the contestants face upcoming tasks, nominations and confrontations.
