Batti Gul Meter Chalu's Release Date Changed

Shahid Kapoor's much-awaited Bollywood film Batti Gul Meter Chalu's release date once again pushed ahead. The film will now release on 21st September 2018.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu originally scheduled to release on 31st August 2018, later it was postponed to 14th September 2018 which would clash with Kajol's Helicopter Eela and Diljit Dosanjh’s Arjun Patiala. To avoid a clash, the makers decide to push the film release date a week later. Recently, Batti Gul Meter Chalu team wrapped up shooting for the film. The film was shot in Mumbai and Tehri, Uttarakhand. The film story revolved around the common man's problems against the power distribution companies over exorbitant electricity bills. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Batti Gul Meter Chalu also stars Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor along with Shahid Kapoor and is produced Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti.
