Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 4 Emraan Hashmi Film Crosses ₹90 Crore

Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani starrer Awarapan 2 continues its strong box office run. The film crossed the ₹90 crore mark in India by Day 4, while Batwara 1947 witnessed a sharp decline.

Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani's Awarapan 2 has continued its impressive theatrical run even after the weekend. The film showed a healthy hold on its first Monday and crossed the ₹90 crore mark in India by the end of Day 4.

According to the reported box office figures, Awarapan 2 earned around ₹9.25 crore net on Monday, taking its four-day domestic total to approximately ₹91 crore.

The film had already enjoyed a strong opening weekend, helped by the popularity of the original Awarapan and the nostalgic appeal surrounding Emraan Hashmi's return to the franchise.

Emraan Hashmi's Film Gets a Strong Monday

The Monday test is considered crucial for a film after its opening weekend. Awarapan 2 managed to maintain a relatively strong pace, indicating that audience interest has continued into the weekdays.

The film's performance has also put it on course to reach the ₹100 crore milestone very quickly. In fact, the movie went on to cross ₹100 crore in India on Day 5, becoming Emraan Hashmi's first solo-lead film to achieve the milestone.

Batwara 1947 Faces a Major Monday Drop

While Awarapan 2 continued its winning run, Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947 struggled to maintain its weekend momentum.

The film reportedly collected around ₹2 crore net in India on Day 4, witnessing a sharp decline from its Sunday business of approximately ₹7.25 crore. Its four-day India net collection stood at around ₹28.50 crore.

The contrasting performances of the two films have made the Independence Day box office clash particularly interesting. Awarapan 2 has emerged as the clear commercial winner, while Batwara 1947 is facing difficulty sustaining audience interest during the weekdays.

Awarapan 2 Heading Towards a Bigger Milestone

With more than ₹90 crore collected in just four days, Awarapan 2 has established itself as one of the strongest performers of the current box office season.

The film's combination of Emraan Hashmi's popularity, Disha Patani's presence, nostalgia surrounding the original film and its music has helped it connect with audiences. Its strong weekday performance further indicates that the film could continue its successful theatrical journey in the coming days.

The ₹100 crore milestone now appears well within reach, with the film expected to achieve it very soon.
