Anjali Anand recently opened the doors of her Mumbai home to filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, giving viewers a glimpse into her personal life, career and luxury handbag collection. The actor, who was recently seen in Dhamaal 4, owns several designer bags, including pieces from Gucci, YSL and the highly coveted Birkin range.
Farah Khan was particularly surprised when Anjali showed her an exclusive Birkin bag. While the two were checking out the expensive handbag, Farah joked that she would have to sell two cars to be able to buy one. She then humorously suggested that Anjali could sell the bag and use the money to purchase a bigger house instead.

The luxury handbag moment became one of the highlights of Farah Khan’s latest vlog. While examining Anjali’s Birkin, Farah turned to her cook Dilip and joked about the amount it would take to purchase such a bag.
The filmmaker has previously spoken openly about luxury fashion, but the price of the Birkin appeared to surprise even her. Anjali, meanwhile, proudly displayed her collection and admitted that she has a genuine obsession with handbags.
“I have a bag obsession,” she said while showing the collection, explaining that she picks up bags from different places.

The actor’s collection features several high-end labels. During the home tour, she showed Farah a black YSL tote. Farah revealed that owning a YSL bag had once been a personal dream for her but acknowledged that the brand’s handbags can be expensive.
Anjali also revealed the story behind one of her Gucci bags. She said a close friend gifted it to her around the time she was preparing to meet Karan Johar for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The bag collection became part of a larger look at Anjali’s personality, with her wardrobe featuring both luxury and more affordable handbags.

The conversation took a more candid turn when Farah Khan asked Anjali what she was shooting for after returning from London.
Anjali smiled and admitted that she was not shooting anything because she currently has no work. Farah responded positively, reminding her that she had still been able to travel and encouraging her not to lose confidence.
Later, when Farah complimented Anjali on her height and appearance, the actor jokingly complained that nobody was casting her despite her looks. Farah then appealed to filmmakers to give the actor more opportunities, pointing to the success of Dhamaal 4.
She Remembered Her Difficult Phase Before Rocky Aur Rani
Anjali also opened up about the challenging period she experienced before getting her breakthrough in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
She recalled that 2020 was one of the lowest points of her life. With acting opportunities drying up during the lockdown, she said her savings were gradually exhausted. At one stage, she even considered quitting acting and moving abroad.
Her breakthrough came unexpectedly while she was travelling in Goa with friends. Casting director Shanoo Sharma contacted her after Karan Johar had seen her picture and liked her for a role. Anjali recalled that there were several influencers being considered, but Johar wanted an actor for the part.

The vlog also featured a hilarious exchange involving Anjali’s mother and her recent film Dhamaal 4.
When Farah asked Anjali’s mother whether she had enjoyed the movie, the response was brutally honest: she described it as “one-time watch.” When Anjali followed up by asking how she liked her daughter’s performance, her mother simply replied that it was “theek hai.” The candid answers left everyone laughing.
Dhamaal 4, directed by Indra Kumar, released in theatres on July 10 and featured Anjali alongside Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
