Bollywood News: Akshaye Khanna has added a new luxury property to his real-estate portfolio. The actor has reportedly purchased an apartment in Mumbai’s prestigious Malabar Hill area for ₹33.26 crore. The transaction was registered in September 2026, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards from Maharashtra’s Inspector General of Registration records.
The property purchase comes at a time when Akshaye Khanna has been receiving renewed attention following his performance in Dhurandhar, where his portrayal of Rehman Dakait became a major talking point.

According to the registration documents, Akshaye Khanna’s new apartment is located at 30 Little Gibbs, Malabar Hill Road, Mumbai.
The property has a carpet area of 2,341.39 square feet, while the additional balcony space measures 175.45 square feet. Together, the carpet and balcony area comes to 2,516.84 square feet. The apartment also comes with three parking units.
The transaction reportedly attracted a stamp duty of ₹1.99 crore, while the registration charges were ₹30,000.
Property Located In Malabar Hill
Malabar Hill is one of South Mumbai’s established premium residential neighbourhoods. The area is known for luxury residences, limited availability of large apartments and its proximity to several prominent parts of South Mumbai.
The neighbourhood is close to locations including Marine Drive, Nariman Point, Fort and Colaba. It is also known for landmarks such as the Hanging Gardens, Kamala Nehru Park, Banganga Tank and Walkeshwar Temple.
The location has therefore remained a preferred address for high-value residential property transactions in Mumbai.
How Much Does The Apartment Cost Per Square Foot?
Based on the reported purchase price and the apartment’s carpet area of 2,341.39 square feet, the transaction works out to approximately ₹1.42 lakh per square foot on a carpet-area basis.
This figure reflects the individual property transaction and should not be directly compared with the average price across the entire Malabar Hill locality, as factors such as the building, floor, views, specifications and amenities can significantly affect luxury-property prices.
