Akshay Oberoi Journey in Bollywood: From Fighter Pilot to His Upcoming Film 'Ghuspaithiya'

Actor Akshay Oberoi stepped into the film industry 14 years ago and has since collaborated with several big stars. This year, he appeared in Hrithik Roshan's movie Fighter, where he portrayed the role of an Air Force pilot. Now, he is all set to grace the screen in his upcoming film Ghuspaithiya, which is scheduled to release tomorrow. Akshay Oberoi, who debuted in 2010 with Rajshri Productions' film Isi Life Mein, received critical acclaim for his role. Having shared the screen with numerous notable actors, Akshay is now ready to captivate audiences once again with Ghuspaithiya, hitting theaters on August 9.

Favorite Pastime? I enjoy reading non-fiction books, particularly autobiographies. Currently, I’m reading Behave, which delves into psychology. First Salary? For my first film, Isi Life Mein, I received ₹51,000. First Audition? I gave my first audition for director Ketan Mehta's film Baiju Bawra, but unfortunately, the movie was never made. Favorite Actor? Amitabh Bachchan Sir. He can excel in any role—be it comedy, romance, action, or even a negative character. A Movie You Can Watch Over and Over Again? Trishul. Whenever I feel down or face challenges in my acting career, I watch this film for inspiration. A Movie You Wish You Were Part Of? Andhadhun is one film I wish I could have been a part of. First Three Things You Do After Waking Up? Yoga and meditation, followed by a gym session, and then I enjoy a cup of coffee. Dream Role? I’ve always dreamed of doing an action film.

On the work front, Akshay will soon be seen in Varun Dhawan’s film Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan.
