Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are coming together for Rowdy Rathore 2

A few months ago, Akshay Kumar postponed his film Padman release date to facilitate Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat, Bhansali had said: “he will be grateful to Akshay for a lifetime and didn’t know how to thank the actor.” To which Akshay had quipped jokingly, “By making Rowdy Rathore.” Now it turns out the remark wasn’t made so facetiously after all. Bhansali is indeed going to fulfill this remark. According to the latest buzz, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are coming together for Rowdy Rathore 2. Prabhu Deva, who helmed first part, will also direct this film. The story of Rowdy Rathore 2 is written by Vijendra Prasad. The film would not be a remake of a Telugu film but based on an original script. Akshay Kumar will once again be seen in the role of Inspector Vikram Rathore, but this time makers are looking for any other actress for the film.
