This is noteworthy considering that the film did not have a wide release in the southern states, where it played with region-specific dubbing. Taking that into account, the actual numbers would have been approximately 10-15 percent higher, making it even more impressive. Despite an excellent opening, the film’s poor performance over the weekend ultimately sealed its fate, and the collections during the weekdays further confirmed its underwhelming performance. It’s important to acknowledge that the weekend collections of Adipurush were boosted by external factors, and without them, the film’s earnings would have been significantly lower.

Considering its current trending, the film may secure the third spot among the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, trailing behind Pathaan and Ponniyin Selvan 2. Even in the best-case scenario, Adipurush is projected to fall short of Pathaan’s box office performance.
