Dinesh Sudarshan Soi honoured at the 10th Darshnik Mumbai Press-Media Awards 2023 organised by Kalyanji Jana’s DPIAF
Director Dinesh Sudarshan Soi is at the pinnacle of his career with remarkable achievements. We have seen him work rigorously, and he has given a handful of chartbuster music videos. He has not only garnered tremendous love for his work, but has also added various awards in his glorifying career. Recently, Mr. Soi bagged the Best Music Video Director Award at the 10th Darshnik Mumbai Press-Media Awards organised by Kalyanji Jana’s Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films 2023. The event was held in Mumbai where Dinesh Soi made his presence among other dignitaries from the media industry.
Unlike the other star-studded award nights, this event honoured media professionals for their relentless work in the media and entertainment industry. Focusing on technical and creative aspects, many personalities from different categories were honoured with the award. Mr. Soi, known for giving visually appealing music videos feels grateful for the honour. Continuing the winning streak, the director dedicated the award to his little daughter Maesha Soi.
The versatile music video director took to his Instagram by sharing a reel of his victorious moment. His caption read, “Monsoon begins with a bang in Mumbai 🌨️ Won another award in Best Music Video Director category today ! I really hope that God keeps on showering this love just like the beautiful showers of rain today & I keep on working harder…”

In the past, the filmmaker has directed blockbuster music videos like ‘Yeh Galiyan Yeh Chaubara’, ‘Tum Mil Gaye Ho’, ‘Tum Kaho Toh’, ‘Kardi Aa Worry’, and ‘Teriyan Akhiyaan’. Moreover, Soi’s directorial single ‘Baarish’ featuring Gurnazar Chattha and Pranutan Bahl was one of the most loved tracks released under the record label – Dhamaka Records.
Over the last few years, he has built DS Creations™️ Music, DS Creations™️ Entertainment and Team DS Creations™️ to bring the best of creativity and entertainment. On the work front, the director’s latest single ‘Tum Bhi Pachtaoge’ has released on July 2, 2023. The sad song features Prajakta Dusane and debutant Mohd Sharia as the male lead.
Soi’s second song ‘Nasha’ will release on July 19. Starring Simaran Kaur, the music video will mark the debut of Achintya Rajawat. Interestingly, both the music videos are produced by Ashish Sharma’s Mad Motion Pictures and will release on the official YouTube channel of DS Creations™️ Music. For the majority of projects, Dinesh Soi has worked dedicatedly with his wife Sonia Malhotra Soi and brother Deepak Soi in taking Team DS Creations™️ to newer heights. Apart from this, Dinesh Sudarshan Soi has also wrapped up directing a feature film, and he is currently in talks for an upcoming comedy web show.
