People living in Mumbai are familiar with the rise of Gawli, they know how a mill worker’s son was involved in activities like theft, murder, and extortion. After this, he became a well-known face of the underworld. The story of the film is BRA Gang, which are Babu Anand, Rama Rajesh and Arun Gawli. Who had been terrorized in Central Mumbai in the 70s and 80s, with this rise of Gawli, his rival David had turned against him. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Dawood in the film.

Most of the peoples know all things about Gawli, so you didn’t get anything new in the film. On many occasions, you will feel that you are only going from one point to another. Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, the film has a general story in which the audience is taken to the underworld’s undivided and unpleasant world with less drama. While watching the film, you will feel that the gang is performing his operation like a ghost. Like Hindi films, a greedy and super-heroic police officer Vijaykar Nitin (Nishikant) is trying to catch them. As you also see in Episode of Crime Petrol.

Verdict

In the first half, Arun Gawali rule the underworld, while in second half, gawli shown as a family man and politician. Despite being a Hindu, Gawli married a Muslim girl Zubaida (Aishwarya Rajesh). The film has highlighted Gawli’s secular party. Although he changed his wife’s religion and gave it the name of Aasha. In spite of the riots in Mumbai, it has emerged as a virtuous one for both Hindu and Muslim communities. If you like crime drama, you can see this movie.
