Khuda Haafiz 2 Makers Apology
The song Haq Hussain from Vidyut Jamwal’s film Khuda Haafiz 2 was recently released. Shias have expressed their displeasure with this song. He claims that the term Hussain is used in the song, and that it contains unpleasant scenes. They were offended by the use of the names Hussain and Zanjeer. The creators have now apologised and made a message on social media.
The creators stated in a statement, “We have chosen to modify the song keeping the Shia community’s views in mind.” We deleted the linked blades and replaced ‘Haq Hussain’ to ‘Junoon Hai’ with the permission of the CBFC censor board. We sincerely apologise to the Shia community. It was never our aim to offend anyone. He stated, “The film does not depict any member of any Shia group in a negative light, nor does it feature anyone from the Shia community attacking anyone from the Shia community.”
The song’s creators went on to say, “They merely wanted to highlight the grandeur saga of Imam Hussain through the song.” Our objective was not to offend anyone’s religious beliefs. However, we have implemented modifications in response to Shia community concerns. Let us tell you that this film stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the major roles. On July 8, the film will be released in theatres.
