The film now becomes Akshay Kumar’s 9th 100 Crore Bollywood movie, which is second highest by any Bollywood actor after Salman Khan (13). Moreover, Gold is the 3rd consecutive 100 Crore film of Akshay Kumar which release on Independence Day.

Gold also becomes the 8th 100 Crore film of 2018. Earlier, films like Padmaavat, Sanju, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Baaghi 2, Raazi, Raid, & Race 3 crosses 100 crore mark at the domestic box office.
