Rohit Shetty’s much-anticipated film Simmba’s starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, goes on the floor for next two months from today, at Ramoji Film City.
Karan Johar’s banner Dharma production took to Twitter to give us a glimpse of what is to come which has got us excited already. Dharma production also shared a video where Ranveer Singh calls Sara as her mother, Amrita Singh.

Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh plays police officer role in the film. The story revolves around a corrupt police officer, who is working for smuggler and warlord and later transforms himself, after falling in love with a character of Sara Ali Khan. Apart from Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana also play a pivotal role in the film.
Simmba is an official remake of Jr.NTR’s Temper. The film will be helmed by Rohit Shetty. Simmba is expected to hit screens on 28 December 2018.
On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan is all geared up with her debut film Kedarnath. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Kedarnath also features Sushant Singh Rajput in lead role.
