The much-anticipated casting for Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project ‘Ramayana’ is nearing completion, and the latest addition to its star-studded lineup is Kiara Sadh. The young television actress, known for her role in the popular series ‘Pandya Store’, is set to portray the character of young Sita in this grand retelling of the Indian epic.

While fans speculated that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt might be cast as Sita initially, the role eventually went to South Indian superstar Sai Pallavi. Reports suggest that Pallavi, along with Kannada superstar Yash, who is set to play Lord Ram’s brother Lakshmana, has charged a whopping 10 crore INR for her role.

Kiara Sadh, who has previously appeared in several television shows, gained recognition for her portrayal of Chuutki in ‘Pandya Store’. Recently, she was seen in the web series ‘Raysinghani Verses Raysinghani’ streamed on SonyLIV, where she played a young Anushka, portrayed by Jennifer Winget.

The ‘Ramayana’ project has already generated significant buzz, especially with Ranbir Kapoor stepping into the shoes of Lord Ram. Alongside Kapoor, the film will feature a blend of talent from both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry. Notable names include Arun Govil, famous for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the original television series, and Kannada superstar Yash, known for his role in ‘K.G.F’.

Although there has been no official confirmation from Kiara Sadh’s parents regarding her role in ‘Ramayana’, sources close to the production team have indicated that she has been finalized for the role of young Sita.

The film is expected to be a visual spectacle, blending traditional storytelling with modern filmmaking techniques. With a star-studded cast and a visionary director like Nitesh Tiwari at the helm, ‘Ramayana’ promises to be a cinematic experience like no other.
