Within a mere 12 days of its release, the biographical drama has crossed the INR 60 crore mark domestically, showcasing the enduring appeal of its tale.

The journey began with a robust start as “Sam Bahadur” amassed INR 38.80 crore during its inaugural week. Undeterred by the fierce competition, the film continued its triumphant run, garnering INR 3.50 crore on its second Friday, INR 6.75 crore on Saturday, and INR 7.50 crore on Sunday. The momentum persisted into the second week, with INR 2.15 crore on Monday and an estimated INR 2.45 crore on Tuesday, contributing to a grand total of INR 61.65 crore at the Indian box office.

Internationally, the film has resonated with audiences, achieving a commendable cumulative box office collection of approximately INR 82 crore as of Tuesday, according to the film trade portal Sacnilk.

Despite the onslaught of “Animal,” a cinematic extravaganza headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, “Sam Bahadur” has managed to maintain a steady course. The Meghna Gulzar directorial held its ground with a notable 20.48% overall occupancy across Hindi shows in theaters throughout the country on Tuesday.

Key contributors to the film’s robust theater occupancy on Tuesday included Chennai (46%), Pune (32%), Jaipur (23.50%), Chandigarh (23.25%), Mumbai (22%), National Capital Region or NCR (21.25%), Bengaluru (19.25%), and Hyderabad (18.50%) respectively.

The resounding success of “Animal” has been impossible to ignore, as Ranbir Kapoor’s latest venture swiftly became the fastest Hindi film to breach the INR 450 crore milestone at the Indian box office. With sights set on the coveted INR 500 crore mark, “Animal” has raked in an impressive INR 458.12 crore within the same 12-day timeframe, surpassing notable predecessors like Jawan, Gadar 2, Pathaan, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
