Jailer Movie Full Story
Muthuvel Pandian, a retired police officer, resides in Chennai with his family comprising wife Vijaya “Viji,” son ACP Arjun, daughter-in-law Swetha, and grandson Rithvik. Arjun is investigating the notorious idol smuggler Varman, who peddles stolen religious artifacts overseas. Confronting Varman’s henchman Seenu, Arjun demands surrender, but he mysteriously vanishes, leading the police to speculate on his suicide. Grieving and burdened by guilt, Muthuvel seeks justice, slaying Seenu and enlisting local cabbie Vimal’s aid.
When Varman’s men target Rithvik, Muthuvel confronts Varman, to no avail. He seeks help from reformed criminal Narasimha, borrowing shooters. Muthuvel blackmails Varman, eliminating his henchmen. Kamdev reveals Muthuvel’s Tihar prison legacy—feared yet respected for rehabilitating inmates.
Muthuvel corners Varman, who reveals Arjun’s survival. Concealing this, Muthuvel agrees: Arjun’s freedom for an ancient crown from an Andhra Pradesh temple. Muthuvel plans a heist with actor Blast Mohan, also a temple trustee.
Despite deceptions, Muthuvel acquires the crown but sends a fake. Arjun, revealed as a corrupt cop, seeks wealth at any cost, even his father’s death. A hidden camera records this conversation, aiding Muthuvel’s assault on Varman’s hideout. Narasimha protects Muthuvel’s kin, Mathew disrupts smuggling, and Varman perishes.
Muthuvel offers Arjun surrender, but he aims at Muthuvel, getting killed by Narasimha. Muthuvel keeps Arjun’s death hidden from his family.
