Director SS Rajamouli Reveals Next Film ‘Made In India’ After ‘Baahubali’ and ‘RRR’ Success
Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, best known for his monumental successes with “Baahubali” and “RRR,” has announced his next project, Made In India Movie. After the resounding success of his previous ventures, Rajamouli has shared some details about his upcoming film, including its title and storyline.
In Made In India, SS Rajamouli will be exploring a story deeply rooted in Indian cinema. The film, which is a biopic, is being produced by Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya, and Varun Gupta. The directorial responsibilities for “Made In India” will be shouldered by Nitin Kakkar.

SS Rajamouli took to his official Twitter handle on September 19th to share a video teaser of “Made In India.” In his caption, he revealed that when he first heard the film’s narrative, it emotionally resonated with him.
Rajamouli said, “When I first heard the story, it had an emotional impact on me like nothing else. Making a biopic is a challenging endeavor in itself, but imagining the legacy of Indian cinema’s father is even more daunting. My team is prepared and fully committed to this project. I am presenting ‘Made In India’ with immense pride.”
SS Rajamouli has been a prominent figure in the film industry since the beginning of 2023, owing to the global acclaim received by his film “RRR.” In fact, “RRR” achieved remarkable success worldwide, even securing a spot in the Oscars. At the 2023 Academy Awards, the foot-tapping song “Natoo-Natoo” from “RRR” won the Best Original Song category.
