According to Bollywood News sources close to the project, the creators of the Welcome film franchise are contemplating casting Miss India 2023 winner Nandini Gupta as one of the female leads in the upcoming third installment. The filmmakers are said to have a critical part in mind for Nandini in the movie, and have already initiated early discussions with her team. However, as the makers are presently preoccupied with the production of Hera Pheri 3, it may take some time before everything is confirmed on paper. Nonetheless, Welcome 3 is not too far away, and the casting process and pre-production work have already commenced.

In February of this year, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal officially reunited to film a special promo for the much-awaited third installment of the Hera Pheri franchise. Previous Bollywood reports have exclusively revealed that the movie will begin with the climax of Phir Hera Pheri, after which the plot will take a leap and follow the three central characters on an international adventure featuring guns and mafia. In addition to Hera Pheri 3, Firoz Nadiadwala is also working on another film, Awara Pagal Deewana 2.
