Controversy Leads to Apology

During the match, Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui were seen talking and embracing each other, which quickly went viral on social media. Subsequently, Elvish Yadav, known for his staunch Hindu beliefs, faced criticism from all sides. Sensing the gravity of the situation, he released a video a few hours ago, where he extended an apology with folded hands.

In the video, Elvish Yadav stated, “A photo of me with Munawar has gone viral, where people are claiming that I am hugging him and talking to him joyfully. I have already clarified this matter. Many people are upset with me, and various allegations have been made against me. I have been called a fake Hindu, anti-Hindu, and a traitor. ‘Traitor’ is a big word, but I accept your criticism. You have supported me and made me who I am today, so I accept everything you say. Many have said that I have a huge ego and I am not apologizing to the Hindu community. That’s not true. I apologize to everyone.”

Sacrifices for Sanatan Dharma

He further added, “I have sacrificed not one but thousands for my Hinduism, Sanatan Dharma. I don’t consider him [Munawar Faruqui] my friend or my brother. My religion is everything to me. People have accused me of insulting Mother Sita, saying wrong things about Lord Rama, and I even ended up in jail. During the match, I mentioned all celebrities who participated, including Akshay Kumar and Sachin Tendulkar, asking whether they are not Hindus.”

Elvish Yadav called out several stars, including Akshay Kumar and Sachin Tendulkar, during the match, questioning their Hindu identity.

This controversy surrounding Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui has stirred up quite a debate, prompting Elvish to release a public apology video to address the situation and clarify his stance on the matter.
