According to Huma Qureshi, her schedule has been very busy with numerous projects such as Army of the Dead and Maharani. As a result, she hasn’t had the time to think about pursuing any new projects. In 2021, she had a busy year with several projects such as Mithya, Maharani season 2, Valimai, Double XL, and Monica, O My Darling.

Huma Qureshi expressed her pride in Indian cinema for winning Oscars in two different genres – RRR for Best Original Song and The Elephant Whisperers for Best Documentary Short Film. She acknowledged that Indian cinema has been captivating the west for a long time, but it is commendable that a Telugu film like RRR, which celebrates the essence of commercial Indian cinema, won the Best Original Song Oscar and other important recognitions in the US this year. She also applauded The Elephant Whisperers for winning the Best Documentary Short Film Oscar. According to Huma, it’s a moment of pride for her as an Indian and as a member of the Indian film fraternity to receive recognition in two entirely different genres.
