The 1-minute and 31-seconds 2.0 teaser begin with birds turning over city skies, which later is being seen taken over by flying mobile phones. People seem upset as the swirl of phones creates havoc. Dr. Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) suggests that they take out Chitti: The Robot, and make him their weapon in the war against Dr. Richard (Akshay Kumar).
Being made on a huge budget of Rs 540 crores, 2.0 is helmed by S.Shankar, and it stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Adil Hussain along with Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. The film is set to hit the screens on November 29, 2018.
