Priyanka Bajaj Sibal from Doha, Qatar was crowned the “Best Model” winner in the Queen of the World pageant held over the last week, in New Jersey, USA.
Setting an example of what poise and elegance looks like when it comes to pageantry, Priyanka actively participated in multiple rounds that gave her the opportunity to showcase her talents during the week and her spectacular performance set a benchmark in the field of pageantry that was honoured with the title of “Best Model” which was a proud moment for all Indians.
Last year in October, Priyanka Bajaj Sibal was crowned Mrs Queen of the World India, which gave her the rights to represent India on this international platform. She was sashed by the famous Bollywood Actress Karishma Kapoor and also won the title of “Social Media Queen” for the buzz she created on various social media platforms with her active engagement and following. This is the Second National pageant victory for Priyanka after winning Mrs India 2021.
Priyanka is the only Indian woman to achieve this feat of a double national victory and is a proud moment for all the Indians living in Qatar. Priyanka has set a very high standard of excellence in Indian pageantry for all the Indians living in Qatar and the Arab world.
Awarded at an international star-studded evening with celebrity guests and the best mentors in the industry, Priyanka stole a thunderous applause as she excelled in the question and answer round with the response “The one thing that I would never do again would be that after I got scared when I failed for the first time, it made me realize that FEAR has two meanings; ‘Forget everything and run’, or ‘Face Everything and rise’. So my advice to my younger self would be to Be Fearless! Don’t get drowned by the opinion of others. The only opinion, the only validation that matters is your own!!”.
Priyanka had a special mention of her husband Siddharth Sibal who has been a backbone for her during this entire journey. Priyanka moved to Doha after her marriage to Siddharth, who is currently working at Accenture Qatar as a Director. She also mentioned how grateful she is to both sets of parents who are back in India but have always managed to show up for whenever she’s needed them.
As a public figure, Priyanka believes in using her platform to empower women and young girls, she’s always been a firm believer that “Education is one thing no one can take away from you.” She’s currently the ambassador of the Cawse Foundation, an organisation that focuses on women, young girls and gender equality. She intends to work closely with the foundation to be able to build programs and interventions that are specifically designed to cater to the needs of the community and focus entirely on their upliftment.
As a person, Priyanka has always been passionate about modelling and acting. She’s been featured in Punjabi music videos, multiple designer shoots and other ad shoots across India and the Middle East. After being crowned as the “Best Model”, Priyanka has multiple modelling and acting projects lined up with the best in the industry.
