Shah Rukh Khan to Receive ₹9 Crore Refund for Mannat Due to a Lease Payment Mistake
Shah Rukh Khan’s Wife, Gauri Khan, Plays Key Role in Securing Refund.
Bollywood Mascot: Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, will receive ₹9 crore from the Maharashtra government due to an error made during the lease payment for his iconic home, Mannat. This refund comes after Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, filed for the reimbursement, following a miscalculation of the payment in 2019.
The error involved a hefty fee of ₹25 crore, which was paid for the mansion instead of the land beneath it. Gauri’s timely action led to the approval of the refund this week.
Located in Bandra West, Shah Rukh Khan’s mansion spans 2,446 square feet and holds deep personal significance for the actor. Known as Mannat, it symbolizes his long-held dream of owning a magnificent home, and its construction was funded through numerous film projects.
This development comes on the heels of Shah Rukh’s successful movies, Pathaan and Jawan, with fans eagerly anticipating his next releases. The star continues to shine both on-screen and in his personal life, with his wife, Gauri Khan, remaining a strong pillar of support.
Shah Rukh’s journey with Mannat reflects the blend of his cinematic and personal passions, while this recent refund underscores the value of attention to detail in managing such an iconic property.
