It is said that the role of Zaheer was offered to Shahrukh, but he declined the offer. Later, the role was given to Sanjay Dutt, who ultimately ended up playing the titular role of Munnabhai.

Shah Rukh Khan was actually offered the lead role in the film “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” before Hrithik Roshan. However, Shahrukh Khan immediately turned down the offer. Subsequently, Rakesh Roshan decided to launch his son Hrithik Roshan in the film. “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” was released in the year 2000 and went on to become a huge blockbuster.

The film was not only a massive hit but also went on to win an Oscar. Interestingly, Shahrukh Khan was initially offered the role that eventually went to Anil Kapoor in the film. The makers had originally intended to cast Shah Rukh Khan for the role, but it didn’t work out, and Anil Kapoor was eventually signed for the part.

Shah Rukh Khan was also offered the lead role in Aamir Khan’s iconic film “Lagaan,” but he declined the offer. The makers of the film initially approached Aamir Khan, who also refused, and then the offer was given to Shah Rukh Khan. However, Shah Rukh Khan also turned down the offer, and the makers ultimately went back to Aamir Khan, who agreed to play the lead role. “Lagaan” went on to become a huge success and was even nominated for an Oscar.
