Launching poster for upcoming thriller, Music Director Maris Vijay unveils first look of his musical Ticket

Bringing thriller, and drama under the combs of musical in his own genre, Music Director Maris Vijay and Producer and Director Mahi Dubey launched the poster of their upcoming movie Ticket on Friday. The new Bollywood thriller which follows political drama and the saga of attaining political tickets, the musical has been set by Maris Vijay keeping the suspense and thrill of the story at the centre of his direction. The movie is all set to release in theatres in 2022. The film has been produced and directed by Mahi Dubey under the banner of MD Arts Production. The screenplay has been written by Manoj Dubey and story by Alok. The poster has reached a stellar one million likes on Maris Vijay’s official Instagram and its success has been noted across other social media platforms as well.

Under his own flagship label M-Muzik, Maris Vijay works with numerous independent artists and singers. In Chennai, Maris Vijay hosts Trinity Waves studio and has the distinguished experience of working with Hollywood, Tamil, Hindi, and Punjabi film industry. Setting his career aims at a tender age of six, Maris Vijay has been played the piano and went on to perform since the age of eight. A leap of eight years, Maris Vijay was headlining and producing music for music directors across Tamil, Telegu, and Malayalam film industry. In his own style, Maris Vijay has been able to carve his way with enriched experience in recording, mixing sequencing, and composing. A graduate from Trinity College of Music, London and years of training has led Maris Vijay to continuing to work across oceans and language industries thus challenging his own versatility.

Commenting on the launch of the movie poster and music direction for Ticket Maris Vijay said, “This musical is special to me for multiple reasons. Mahi Dubey gave me the freedom to experiment and comprehend a music direction which conveys the essentials of the movie. The Indian music industry views musicals in a set tone and we are making an attempt to diversify that. The idea was to a create a scoring music which would convey the suspense and thrill audiences are expecting to watch. The hope lies in audiences liking and supporting this trend that we are experimenting with.”

Maris Vijay has also wrapped his next Bollywood assignment titled The Future is Dark working alongside 67th National Award Winner Savaniee Ravindrra and will be releasing in theatres and OTT platforms. His next Hollywood assignment is a French mix English project Le Secret Passage which is under production. His upcoming releases in Kollywood include Vattakanal.
