In a thrilling announcement for streaming enthusiasts, Amazon Prime Video has confirmed the release of ‘Yoddha’ and TBMAUJ on its platform. This comes as part of a grand reveal of 69 films and web series by Prime Video, encompassing a diverse array of genres. From blockbuster sequels like Ranveer Singh’s ‘Don 3’ to Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Ashwatthama’ and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Bad News,’ the lineup promises something for every viewer.

Notably, Prime Video has included films that were previously announced for theatrical release, indicating a significant shift towards digital premieres. While some titles have already commenced shooting, others are in various stages of production, with a few already making waves in cinemas.

Two such films caught in this intersection are Siddharth Malhotra’s ‘Yoddha’ and Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.’ Despite their theatrical releases, their arrival on OTT platforms remains highly anticipated, with release dates yet to be disclosed. Typically, films hit OTT platforms 4-8 weeks post-theatrical release, adding to the excitement surrounding their digital premieres.

‘Yoddha,’ directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, debuted in theaters on March 15, featuring Siddharth Malhotra as a Special Forces member. Though the film’s theatrical run started gradually, its clash with other releases affected its pace.

On the other hand, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ marks the first on-screen pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in a sci-fi romantic film, with Kriti essaying the role of a robot. Despite its February 9 theatrical release and decent box office performance, audiences eagerly await its digital premiere.

Adding to the OTT excitement is ‘Madgaon Express,’ slated for release on March 22, making its way to Prime Video shortly after its theatrical run. Directed by Kunal Khemu in his directorial debut, the comedy-drama stars Divyendu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles.

With such diverse offerings lined up for digital premieres, streaming enthusiasts are in for a treat as they await the arrival of these highly anticipated films on Amazon Prime Video.

The streaming landscape continues to evolve, offering viewers a plethora of choices right at their fingertips, and these upcoming releases only add to the excitement of what’s to come in the world of entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates on these thrilling digital premieres!
