Bollywood News: As Vicky Kaushal, director Laxman Utekar, and producer Dinesh Vijan gear up for the release of their upcoming comedy “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” they have also confirmed their next untitled collaboration earlier this year. In this project, Vicky will portray the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Laxman shared during an interview with PTI that they didn’t conduct any look tests for Vicky as they were convinced he is the perfect fit for the character. According to a reliable source, the team is planning to commence shooting for the film on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in October. While Vicky Kaushal, Laxman Utekar, and Dinesh Vijan are currently occupied with the promotions of “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” Laxman has already begun pre-production work for the upcoming project. He has dedicated significant time to research and is refining the script, alongside discussions regarding locations, costumes, and casting. As per the source, the team has set their sights on October 2023 as the start date for filming.
Vicky Kaushal Next Project on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj
Vicky Kaushal is set to begin his preparations for the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in July-August. According to a source, he will undergo diction training, horse riding lessons, and various other training sessions to fully immerse himself in the character. The actor is highly enthusiastic about portraying the historical figure and is committed to giving it his all.
In addition to this project, Vicky will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s “Sam Bahadur” alongside Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. He is also part of Anand Tiwari’s “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” alongside Triptii Dimri. Rumor has it that he is in discussions with Rohit Shetty to join the filmmaker’s cop universe.
